The most important of them are the DOMOTEX Germany, the DOMOTEX Turkey and the Machine Made Carpets Exhibition in Tehran. Among these exhibitions, Turkey, as one of the largest producers of carpets in the world, has always had a strong presence in all events, and the DOMOTEX Turkey Carpet Exhibition is of interest to all traders and producers in the world.

The DOMOTEX Turkey Carpet Exhibition is held every year in Gaziantep. Gaziantep is a small city in the southeast of Turkey, where the machine made carpets industry is very prosperous. In May 2022, after spending two consecutive years fighting the worldwide Corona pandemic, the DOMOTEX Turkey Carpet Exhibition was held again with a predictable order. The presence of major carpet production companies in the world created a significant boom that satisfied all the participants. Three large main halls and two temporary halls next to them showed the capacity and high demand of applicants to participate in this event.
Of course, because the exhibition is held only once a year at the Gaziantep exhibition site, there are defects in providing services during the construction of the booths. The lack of proper access to amenities and the long distance from the city have led to dissatisfaction among executive groups and some exhibitors. On the other hand, the lack of enough hotels and resorts to accommodate travelers and visitors to this exhibition is one of the other weaknesses of holding the DOMOTEX Turkey Carpet Exhibition in this city. Of course, the high volume of visits, exchanges and business transactions in this exhibition is so suitable that the participants overlook these defects and always try to participate in this event.
This year, as in previous years, Iranian producers had a more positive presence than other carpet-producing countries (except Turkey). To the extent that about 10% of the booths of the exhibition were dedicated to the booths of Iranian companies.
